The Laws of Duplicate Contract Bridge

I have an avid interest in the laws of the game of bridge. This page contains links relating to the laws and to appeals committees which are called upon to interpret and apply those laws.

I was a member of ACBL’s National Appeals Committee and from 2009-2011 and 2014-2016 I served as its chairman. As of 2021 I'm vice-chair of the ACBL Laws Commission, a member of the WBF Laws Committee, and a commentator for the ACBL Appeals Casebooks that are compiled after each NABC.
